    Warm Moments Between Prabowo Subianto, Jokowi, and Ma’ruf Amin at the TNI-Polri Officer Oath Ceremony

    Jakarta – A moment of camaraderie among President Joko Widodo, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, and Defense Minister, who is also the President-elect, Prabowo Subianto, was captured during the Officer Oath Ceremony (Praspa) of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (16/7).

    Throughout the event, the trio was seen together from the beginning of the ceremony to the photo session. They walked in tandem, engaged in conversations peppered with smiles, reflecting a harmonious relationship.

    The ceremony was attended by 906 cadet officers (Capaja) who were inaugurated as officers of the TNI and Polri. These included 417 cadets from the Military Academy (Akmil), 129 from the Naval Academy (AAL), 113 from the Air Force Academy (AAU), and 247 from the Police Academy (Akpol).

    “The Officer Oath Ceremony of the Indonesian National Armed Forces and the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia is ready to begin,” announced the ceremony commander.

    “Proceed,” said Jokowi.

    During the ceremony, Jokowi urged the newly commissioned officers to fulfill their duties to the nation and state to the best of their abilities.

    “I will fulfill my duties as an officer to the best of my abilities to the Indonesian nation and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, which is founded on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia,” Jokowi stated.
