    Pramono Anung and Rano Karno, number 3 candidate for Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, declared their victory in the first round of the Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) in DKI Jakarta. They announced their win with 50.07 percent of the votes, based on the real count from the DKI Jakarta KPU and C1 KWK form calculations as of Thursday, reaching 100 percent of the polling stations in the Jakarta election areas. The pair obtained 2,183,577 votes, which is equivalent to 50.07 percent, or more specifically, 50 percent plus 2,943 votes. The significance of each vote in this Governor election in Jakarta was emphasized. This result complies with the regulations stipulated in Law Number 29 of 2007 concerning DKI and Law Number 2 of 2024 concerning the Special Jakarta Area (DKJ). The Governor and Deputy Governor of DKJ are directly elected through Pilkada with a vote count of 50 percent plus 1 vote. Official announcement of the manual recapitulation results of the Pilkada by the DKI Jakarta KPU is still awaited. Thanks were also expressed to the police and military forces for maintaining a fair, safe, and orderly Jakarta election. DKI Jakarta KPU has established three pairs of Governor and Deputy Governor candidates for the Jakarta Pilkada: Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) number 1, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) independent number 2, and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel) number 3. In the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada, 8.2 million voters were registered in the Permanent Voter List to exercise their voting rights at 14,835 polling stations on November 27, 2024. The Jakarta Pilkada campaign was held from September 25 to November 23, 2024.
