President Prabowo Subianto announced that 352 TNI soldiers will participate in the military parade in New Delhi on January 26, 2025, to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India. This announcement was made before his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon. Indonesia is honored by the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops and Akmil cadets to be part of the front row in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will include 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is scheduled to meet with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral cooperation, including signing an MoU on collaboration in various areas such as health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Meetings with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also planned during his visit.
