Elementary school students in Depok show their gratitude for the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG) by leaving heartwarming messages for Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. These touching messages, written on the meal boxes or omprengs provided as part of the programme, convey the students’ deep appreciation for this initiative. One student named Regita, a third grader, expressed her thanks for the programme as it helped her save her pocket money. Aliya and Alenna, along with many other students, also expressed their love and appreciation for Prabowo through their messages.
The MBG programme, a key initiative of President Prabowo Subianto, has been introduced in various locations across Indonesia to offer free nutritious meals to those in need. To ensure the quality and sustainability of the food provided, the programme is managed by the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG). In a bid to promote long-term sustainability, the government has chosen stainless steel food containers that are hygienic and reusable. The initiative aims to not only provide nutritious meals but also to foster a sense of gratitude and appreciation among the school children benefiting from it.
