President Prabowo Subianto recently held a meeting with Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Sakti Wahyu Trenggono and Deputy Minister of KKP Didit Herdiawan at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta to address the issue of unauthorized sea fence construction in Tangerang, Banten Province. Sakti revealed that the construction lacked the necessary permits, a violation of the regulations set forth in the Job Creation Law. As a result, the construction has been sealed pending further investigation to determine ownership and legality. President Prabowo has instructed a thorough legal examination of the matter, involving collaboration with various parties like the Indonesian Navy and the Marine Security Agency (Bakamla). The aim is to ensure compliance with legal procedures and prevent potential adverse effects such as erosion.
