    Honda CR-V e:HEV Baru Menerima Lima Bintang dalam Uji Tabrak Euro NCAP

    KabarOto.com – All New Honda CR-V e:HEV has achieved a five-star rating in the crash test conducted by the Euro New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).

    In detail, the adult occupant protection scored 34.2 points or 85 percent. It is mentioned that the frontal crash received a score of 14.1 out of 16 points, side crash 15 out of 16 points, and rear crash received full points of 4.

    For child occupants, it scored 42.2 points or 86 percent. In both frontal offset and side barrier tests, good protection was provided in all critical body areas.

    Honda Sensing 360 Performance

    Meanwhile, the Vulnerable Road Users category scored 50.8 points or 80 percent. The Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB) system can respond to vulnerable road users and other vehicles.

    Honda Sensing 360, which is an optional safety package featuring a combination of multi-radar and camera, is said to have better performance compared to the standard single radar system.

    The Safety Assist category scored 14.3 points or 79 percent. When equipped with the optional Honda Sensing 360 package, the Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB) system functions well in testing, reacting to other vehicles and in crash test scenarios.

    Euro NCAP Secretary General Dr. Michiel van Ratingen, expressed pleasure in seeing advanced sensing solutions such as lidar being used to provide better crash avoidance.

    “Unfortunately, accidents can’t always be avoided, and high crashworthiness remains an important backbone,” Michiel said, as quoted from Euroncap.
