Toyota has introduced a new innovation in the automotive world by launching an electric version of the Hilux pickup truck transformed into a ‘Songthaew’, a popular form of public transportation in Thailand. With 12 units of the BEV Hilux Revo set to be tested on the streets of the tourist hub of Pattaya, Toyota demonstrates its commitment to introducing environmentally friendly technology in the Thai automotive market. Although full technical details have not been disclosed, initial specifications indicate a battery capacity of around 71.4 kWh with a range of approximately 200 km.
